The Seeds of Service program is a collaboration between the Leadership Council and Weaver Elementary’s leadership program, The Ambassadors. This youth-led initiative offers a series of workshops designed to teach students valuable lessons in communication, emotional intelligence, the importance of volunteering, and exposure to different leadership styles and conflict-resolution techniques, which we are excited to host at Ambassadors meetings throughout the school year. The second part of our program involves bringing accessible and engaging community service opportunities to the elementary schoolers, providing them with the resources and information to foster proactive volunteering and service!
Workshop 1 – Letter Writing & Compassion in Volunteering
Workshop 2 – Effective & Empathetic Communication in Volunteering
Workshop 3 – Emotional Intelligence in Volunteering
Workshop 4 – Leadership Styles & Conflict Resolution in Volunteering
We are collaborating with the Huntington Beach Wetlands Restoration, Bolsa Chica Land Trust, and Joy Cards to bring Ambassadors in the Seeds of Service Program amazing volunteer opportunities with these nonprofit organizations.
