The Youth Center relies on the generous support of its donors every year to ensure that its programs and facilities are of the highest possible quality and are accessible to all. It is Youth Center policy not to deny access to activities because of an inability to pay program fees. Funded by the generosity of the community, a financial assistance program (FAP) is available for those in need. FAP makes it possible for every kid to be a kid for nine weeks during Rossmoor Park Summer Camp & Teen Camp. Unfortunately, there are hundreds of kids throughout Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Seal Beach and surrounding areas who are unable to afford the full cost of this invaluable experience. Your gift to the Youth Center provides scholarships for deserving kids and a summer they’ll never forget. Financial Assistance Program makes it possible for every kid to be a part of our Music, Musique Sur La Mer Orchestra and Gymnastics Programs. Your support helps us provide scholarships to children and families who otherwise would be unable to participate. Your gift will also support youth activities for which there is no off-setting revenue such as the After School, Homework Clinic, Safe Rides & Every15Minutes programs. The cost of these programs exceeds $60,000 annually.
